Halmstad Golf clubb
Halmstad Golf Club has two 18-hole courses, one of which – the classic Northern Course – is ranked as the world's number 67. It was this course that was the venue for the 2007 Solheim Cup. This and the newly renovated club house are clear indications that there is no lack of ambition at the club.In conjunction with a refurbishment in 2006, Tylö was commissioned to modernise the bathing facilities in the ladies changing rooms. In consultation with the architect and the building contractor we first produced a complete interior design proposal that met with universal approval, and then assisted with the installation on site. The Club Director, Mr Mats Malmberg, was delighted with the result. So, too, were the ladies themselves, who now frequently enjoy relaxing in the sauna or steam room after a round of golf in the spring or winter. The American lady professionals were equally delighted with the facilities during the Solheim Cup tournament. How much their victory over the top Europeans owed to the opportunities to warm up and relax that these facilities provide is, however, best left unsaid.
