Tylö

Tylö

Forward-looking since 1950

Tylö AB is a well-established manufacturer with considerable market shares and all the resources necessary to ensure stable growth. This provides the foundation that makes Tylö AB a secure partner for the future. The Tylö factory is located in a modern industrial area close to the centre of Halmstad, Sweden. Tylö has been extended more than a dozen times since 1950, most recently to give a factory floor area of 20,000 sq.m.

History

The fact that Tylö is what it is today can be traced back to the values of its founders – innovative ideas, determination and visions.

Tylö's founder, Sven-Olof Janson, was an electrician whose ingenuity and motivation enabled him to develop smaller and more efficient heaters for proprietary designed machines. In 1951, he accepted a challenge from a local businessman to build a cheaper but better sauna. And as they say, the rest is history. Our history.

Quality & Environment

Our commitment to quality is reflected in every aspect of our operations and is an integral part of our design and product development activities, choice of materials, manufacturing process, service and support. Qualities that contribute to sustainability and minimal environmental impacts.

As part of our active commitment to the long-term protection of the environment we ensure that our manufacturing processes are completely clean. The timber we use comes from traditional forestry in Sweden, the Baltic countries and North America, and none of our timber is taken from the rain forests. All plastic components are manufactured from environmentally certified raw materials. Timber waste is used to make briquettes, plastic waste is ground into granules and every scrap of metal is recycled. Giving priority to the environment is part of our commitment to quality, especially the quality of life we want in the future.

Our vision and mission

Our vision is to be the premium choice for people looking for quality of life.

Our mission is to be the global leader in sauna and steam products for premium customers through innovative design, a clear customer focus and consistently superior quality.

This is how we develop our products

Our heaters, saunas, steam generators and steam baths are tested and inspected throughout the entire manufacturing process. Sophisticated equipment is used to carry out the tests that Tylö's products must undergo in order to be awarded international certification and seals of approval from various official testing authorities.

The work of developing our saunas and steam baths is an ongoing process. Over the years, the results of this work has set the benchmark for quality in the industry.

We occasionally work in partnership with external test laboratories, universities and institutions to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in manufacturing processes, safety developments and consumer legislation.
Relaxology

Relaxology

Relaxology is a ground-breaking concept in sauna bathing for a healthy lifestyle. Its use of aroma, sound and light therapy helps you to achieve a greater depth of relaxation, based on scientific medical studies. Deep relaxation is a key element to reaching your peak performance both physically and mentally. Relaxology maximises your relaxation.
